G&M Welcomes New Litigation Partner Robert Michaels

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Boutique law firm Goldstein & McClintock LLLP expands commercial litigation and professional liability practice with addition of new partner

Chicago, Illinois – January 19, 2017 - Goldstein & McClintock LLLP, a Chicago-based boutique law firm comprising over 20 professionals in multiple offices around the country, bolstered its client offerings by adding Robert Michaels, previously a shareholder at Robinson Curley & Clayton, P.C. Mr. Michaels will add new depth to G&M’s award-winning commercial litigation and bankruptcy litigation practice groups, as he has more than fifteen years of experience representing trustees, receivers, and shareholders in complex breach of fiduciary duty, civil RICO, and professional liability litigation in courts around the country. Mr. Michaels has also prosecuted and defended numerous matters involving the internet and information technology, including claims for trade secret theft, intellectual property infringement, and online defamation. He also represents executives in change in control and other compensation disputes, and has successfully briefed and argued numerous federal appeals.

At G&M, Mr. Michaels will be working with attorneys who have hailed from top law firms around the country, all of whom regularly represent sophisticated clients in a wide variety of commercial matters.  Yet at the same time, Mr. Michaels’ clients will immediately benefit from the greater affordability, accessibility, and individual attention of a boutique law practice.

G&M founding partners, Harley J. Goldstein and Matthew E. McClintock, believe that Mr. Michaels is a terrific fit for the firm. “We are very pleased to welcome Rob to G&M and to continue to grow the firm and its client offerings” said the firm’s Chairman, Harley J. Goldstein.  Mr. McClintock, the firm’s Managing Partner, agrees that Mr. Michaels is “an incredible fit, not only from a practice area and geographic perspective, but also in light of the sophistication of his experience and client base.”
